At Brown Law Firm, we take great pride in our long-standing roots in Montana. We continue our tradition of providing expert legal services to clients throughout Montana and the region.

Our firm began in 1911 with Rockwood Brown, Sr. and O. King Grimstad, who established a law office in Billings, after attending law school together at the University of Michigan. After Mr. Grimstad's death in the late 1920s, Horace Davis joined the firm, and the name changed to Brown and Davis. Rockwood Brown, Jr. joined the firm in 1952. In 1953, Mr. Davis was appointed to the Montana Supreme Court. After Rockwood Brown, Sr.'s death in 1956, the firm evolved to Brown, Gerbase, Cebull, Fulton, Harman & Ross, P.C. Richard Cebull was appointed U.S. Magistrate Judge in 1998 and thereafter the firm name has been Brown Law Firm, P.C.

Although changes have occurred over the years, the commitment and values of the firm remain the same. We continue to offer a wide range of legal services and top quality, reputable counsel.
