Ms. Stansbury received her B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002.After working as a paralegal in Pittsburghfor a year, she attended the University of Montana School of Law and participated in a joint-degree program with the Environmental Studies Department. Ms. Stansbury completed a year of clinical experience in the Land Use Clinic, and received her J.D. and a Certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources Law in May 2006. In December 2006, Ms. Stansbury received her Master's Degree in Environmental Studies, with a focus on water quality issues. In 2006, as Managing Editor for the PublicLand and Resources Law Review, she published an article entitled "Negotiating Winters: A Comparative Case Study of the Montana Reserved Water Rights Compact Commission."Ms. Stansbury's main areas of practice include environmental and natural resources, real estate, insurance coverage issues, and defense litigation. She is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Montana and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
